The sky was so dark
with those shining stars
and the bright moon
just over the horizon
lying on the ground
in the summer's heat
with a soft summer breeze
that felt just oh so right.
just lying there talking with my friends
thinking about everything
and how nice it was right then
everyone and everything
was just so calm
and with that soft summer breeze
that felt just so right
all the best feelings
in one summer night.
